Missing toddler found in locked condo

A two-hour air and land search for a missing Fernie boy was called off after he was found locked in a nearby condo, reports Angela Treharne for the Fernie Free Press.

Members of search and rescue and 50 members of the public took part in the search that included the nearby river. The boy was found in vacant condo, says Scott Robinson of Fernie search and rescue.

The body of a hiker missing since January was found late last week, reports Mona Mattei at the Boundary Sentinel. A hiker came across Shawn McDonald’s body on Friday, March 4.
