Two East Kootenay stories have merged into one with news that the vehicle which ended up in the Goat River – the vehicle SAR technicians were investigating when one of their own drowned – belongs to a missing Creston woman.

The Creston RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating a 23-year-old Creston woman who has not been seen since Saturday, June 18.
Alana Chipesia, also known as Lana Sundby, was last seen at her personal residence on the Lower Kootenay Band Reserve.
