School District 20 board members voted to delay a decision to spend $191,000 to change the water pipes for MacLean Elementary and Rossland Secondary School. Trustee Toni Trutti wanted to know if the replacement would replace the problem, on the board’s table since 2009.
“Who is going to guarantee to us that if we spend this kind of money, that the problem will be fixed? Is there a guarantee?” she asked.
“It doesn’t come with a guarantee,” said [Heather Simms, assistant director of opearations].
