Missing woman’s car found

Searchers have found the car belonging to a 68-year-old woman who went missing on Monday, reports Sally Macdonald for the Cranbrook Townsman.

Charlotte Burch was last seen leaving her home on Monday, headed to Koocanusa Lake to see family. Burch has dementia but functions well, say police.
The search for Burch recommenced at dawn on Thursday with a police service dog, its handler and a skilled tracker.
“The Search and Rescue team is also standing by and will begin a proper ground search if the dog and tracker aren’t successful. Their efforts may be augmented with the helicopter if the search doesn’t find Burch quickly,” said Faulkner.
