UPDATE: Snowshoers found near Whitewater

UPDATE: The CBC is reporting both snowshoers were found unharmed in the backcountry near Whitewater Ski Resort.

Search and rescue crews from the West Kootenay were hunting through the hills above Whitewater Ski Resort, searching for two snowshoers missing since Sunday afternoon, reports Chris Shepherd on the Nelson Post.
Earlier in the day a local skier came across the two and they reported they were fine and heading back to the parking lot. By closing time at the ski hill their car was still in the parking lot.
